Paintball Day with Spinoza

Tuesday 28 May it was time for a slightly more active event at the Spinoza Campus activity committee. It was time for a game of paintball! We had made a reservation at the Paintball Jungle in Wormerveer, but there was one problem: the public transport strike … Fortunately, we were able to borrow cars and we were able to go on an adventure with a nice group. Once there we were hoisted in beautiful camouflage suits and we were given a mask. After a brief instruction, the guns could be loaded. Armed with almost 200 paintballs per person we walked towards the fields. We were divided into two teams and were exactly the same after the first two games: 1-1.

After a short break, with beer of course, we started the next games with fresh courage. Team red has defeated team blanco with 3-1… Next time, blanco takes revenge! Some residents had played before and were well trained, others had difficulty distinguishing the teams (cough, Appie). Fortunately, it was very nice again, wonderfully sunny and a very successful evening! Tired but satisfied, and some somewhat battered, we drove back to the campus. Some residents then joined for drinks afterward. Until the next!
